Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Java Software Engineer located in Craiova, with some work-from-home flexibility.

The engineer will be responsible for developing software solutions using Java and leveraging the Spring Framework to implement microservices, and managing Docker containers.

Day-to-day tasks will include coding, reviewing code, troubleshooting, and collaborating with the development team to design efficient and reliable applications.

Requirements

  • A solid Java Web Development experience
  • Fluent in English, even better if not afraid of some French
  • Always ready to bring fresh ideas

  • Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud
  • JPA, Hibernate
  • REST services
  • Docker, Kubernetes
  • Service discovery, load balancing, microservices
  • JSF, Primefaces, Spring Web Flow
  • Junit
  • Database: Postgresql & PostGIS mainly
  • Message brockers(ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ)
  • SCM & CI – Git, Gitlab
  • Maven and some Gradle

Nice to have

  • Some knowledge & experience with Python, C++
  • Some experience with mobile app development
  • Some experience in GIS/CAD with components like: Geoserver, Qgis, Esri Suite
