Internship - Trainee C++ SW Engineer

As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the full software development lifecycle — from specifications and coding to testing and validation — playing a hands-on role in building the future of mobile networks.

As part of a global Development Unit with over 1300 engineers across multiple continents, you'll work in one of our 7 agile R&D Tribes. Specifically, you'll be based in our Timisoara Tribe, embedded in a Squad of 15 highly motivated engineers. Position: Software Engineer trainee

Duration: Part-time 6h/day

Location: Hybrid in Timisoara, Romania

• Create software design for ongoing features, based on software requirements
• Developing code using the latest C++ standards (C++14 and onwards)
• Developing automated unit tests and software component tests (using Gtest and gmock) and deliver the feature in a CI pipiline
• Contribute to specification reviews, code reviews and test plan reviews.
• Colaborate with the testing teams and if needed, fix the bugs of the delivered features
• Mentoring and guiding new team members
• Constant learning and self-development

Must have:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor/Master's university degree in computer science or electronics
• Basic knowledge of C++, design patterns, software quality metrics, static code analyzer, black-box testing and white box testing for state machines.
• Basic understanding of Agile development methodologies, test driven development, continuous integration, code coverage
• Fluent in English (both oral and writing)
  Searches to learn continuously and fast, in an ambitious and resourceful way
