We are seeking a Senior Data Professional from to join our growing data team in Bucharest.

This is a hybrid Data Science + Data Engineering role where you will play a critical part in building the backbone of the project's data ecosystem.

You'll be expected to own projects end-to-end: taking a high-level brief, designing scalable solutions, and delivering independently.

Role is remote initially with travel to Australia for a two-week paid trip to meet with your direct report. Follow-up trips may be required every four to six months to ensure continued collaboration and understanding of the data.

The plan is to create a centre of excellence in Bucharest and then the role will switch to being hybrid and not fully remote.

Key Requirements:

  • BigQuery and Python Expertise: Proficiency in both is essential.
  • Data Pipeline Development: Experience building and maintaining continuous data pipelines for handling large datasets (billions of lines of data).
  • API Integration.
  • Independent Work Style: The candidate must be a self-starter who can take a project brief, develop a solution, and execute on their own with minimal supervision.
