Electrical Design Engineer
for our
MEP Design Department
in
Bucharest.

Main tasks
:

  • Designs low & very low voltage installations for civil and industrial constructions, draws up plans, technical specifications, schemes, lists of quantities and equipment, reports necessary to deliver a project in all phases, from Site Survey, Concept, DTAC, P.TH, D.D.E, As Built and Fire Permits for different sectors such as industrial buildings, offices, residential complexes, hotels, hospitals, logistics warehouses, shopping centres, mixed development.
  • Verifies and provides the necessary support for the coordination of all installations between them and with the rest of the disciplines such as structural and architectural.
  • Develops the technical diagrams, ensures the design of the installation systems in constructions, coordinating them with other disciplines, as needed.
  • Prepares calculations for installation systems, equipment design, technical data sheets.
  • Responds to both internal and external communications regarding the status of the design.
  • Ensures the connection with all the consultants involved in the project, coordinating the design requirements with all disciplines and aims at correlating the drawings / plans from the other disciplines.
  • Gets acquainted with structural and architectural models to appreciate space limitations and interference.
  • Designs the installations for constructions directly in AutoCAD, MagiCAD / Revit and uses dedicated computing software, in accordance with the requirements.
  • Revises the drawings / plans, the technical documentation, the lists of materials and equipment each time changes are requested, to correlate the drawn / written documentation with what was put into operation.
  • Participates to all design meetings both internally and externally organised.
  • Prepares and delivers technical solutions and offers to our clients.
  • Site visits when it is necessary to ensure technical assistance on site for Contractor.

Ideal candidate:

  • Graduated a Technical University – Building Services Engineering preferably.
  • Proven experience in designing low & very low voltage systems (3+ years' experience needed)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, MagiCAD, Revit, appropriate software programs for installation design
  • Ability to organize time, tasks and workplace
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Attention to details
  • Advanced level of written/spoken English is a must
  • Analytical and synthesis skills
  • Diplomacy, objectivity, professional attitude
  • Customer service attitude
  • Good interpersonal (oral and written) and business communication skills
