The opportunity is massive: AI and design are colliding faster than ever, and founders everywhere need faster execution. We're here to lead that movement. Now, we're looking for an AI Engineer Intern to join our team and help us explore, prototype, and scale AI-powered design tools.

About the role

This is an early, hands-on internship. You'll work closely with the CEO and product team to design, prototype, and test AI systems that accelerate product design workflows. You'll gain exposure to real startup projects, AI-driven MVPs, and learn how to build products that ship fast and deliver value to early-stage clients. From day one, you'll be involved in research, experimentation, and development of practical AI features — not just academic theory.

What you'll do

  • Research and experiment with AI/ML models for product design, UI/UX, and workflow automation
  • Prototype features such as Figma automation, AI-based UI audits, and generative design tools
  • Support MVP development by integrating APIs and lightweight AI models (OpenAI, Hugging Face, etc.)
  • Assist in building internal tools that help AKY X scale design delivery 10x faster
  • Explore how AI can streamline design workflows and contribute to documentation
  • Collaborate directly with the CEO on live client projects and internal experiments

Who you are

  • Strong interest in AI/ML, product design, and startups
  • Basic knowledge of Python or JavaScript, and experience with AI/ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.)
  • Curious and experimental, with a hands-on approach to learning
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: resourceful, proactive, and able to self-learn quickly
  • Excited about how AI will reshape the future of design and product development
  • Bonus: experience building small projects with OpenAI APIs, computer vision, or generative AI
