Sr. PM SWP Offshore Construction EngineeDate: 22 Sept 2025Location: Constanta, RO, 900546Company: OMV GroupYour TasksDemonstrate safety leadership for the offshore HUC campaign. Daily walkdowns of the work. Daily engagement with the workforce. Take part in daily tool box talks with the construction crew and weekly offshore safety meetings. Develop safety initiatives with EPC-1 contractor. Comply with all HSSE requirements of the project, company and legal requirements of working in Romania.Deputise for appointed Sr PM SWP Offshore HUC as necessary.Observe contractor's installation activities and raise any issues with Contractor's supervisors and / or elevate more serious issues to company Construction Manager.Provide daily report to Sr PM SWP Offshore HUCDevelop the work site plans, durations, deliverables, and procedures as necessary.Adapt a predefined project management methodology to specific needs.Prepare project documentation, work plans, project manuals, progress reports, expected outcomes, and stakeholder matrices as neededLiaise with Company onsite quality team to ensure that any corrective actions are implemented by the contractor and highlight any issues directly to both contractor and company inspectors.Undertake investigations into issues around productivity and co-ordination as requested by the Construction ManagerProvide specialist input to the resolution of any structural or mechanical issues encountered during the construction of the work.Ensure that company quality requirements are metYour ProfileEducation: BSc / MSc within relevant engineering discipline or relevant extensive experience in a offshore similar position / mega projectRelevant professional experience: > 9 years of international offshore oil and gas industryTrack record of delivery in major projectsTrack record site construction workExperience in delivering offshore structuresIdeally the PM Construction Engineer shall have worked previously as a construction supervisor for applicable Jacket/topside work for a Contractor, before having undertaken a role as Construction Engineer for an OperatorProven experience acting as part of a onshore and/or offshore site construction teamExperience gained through working as a construction supervisor for structural or mechanical trades for a contractorExperience in working with a completions system during the later stages of a project.Excellent oral and written communication skillsConfident individual capable of carrying out interventions necessary to ensure safety and quality is maintained in the construction works.Passionate about keeping people safe, proactivelyStrong personal commitment to HSSEProvide leadership and direction to drive the team to achieve HSSE objectivesPromote OMV Lifesaving RulesEnsure compliance with all applicable local and international HSSE legislation.
