QA Engineer

Quality Assurance (QA) remains one of the biggest unsolved challenges in software development. Companies spend over $20 billion every year on software testing in Europe and the United States alone, and yet critical bugs still reach production. Teams lose time, customers lose trust, and products lose momentum.
Why Software Quality Engineering?
Developers focus on building features. Experienced QA Engineers ensure those features deliver real value, work seamlessly together, and meet user expectations in complex scenarios. This isn't a checklist role; it's a strategic one. It demands a deep understanding of systems, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to design comprehensive test strategies that safeguard the user experience.
This is an engineering role that requires you to think about systems, dependencies, edge cases, and how to design checks that prevent failure before it happens. It's a different area of expertise that demands its own deep skill set.
In this role, you'll work across teams, help define how quality is built into products, and grow fast by solving problems that affect users directly.
At QA DNA, this is exactly the kind of thinking we apply every day.
We work with software product teams to build automated testing setups that are reliable, scalable, and built for the real world. Our approach is hands-on and focused. We use the right tools, lean on solid engineering practices, and stay close to how modern teams actually build software.
This involves building a culture of quality, and we believe that starts with experienced professionals (like you?).
We value the expertise you bring and provide an environment where you can apply your skills to solve meaningful problems and mentor others.
We're looking for a QA Engineer to join our team
. You will be an
integral part
of delivering a high-quality experience for the users of the products we support. This is a hands-on, technical role where your work will directly impact how real software performs in the real world.
Who We're Looking For
A QA Engineer who has:
- 3-5 years
of hands-on experience in software Quality Assurance
- A deep understanding of the
product development lifecycle
and business requirements, with the ability to translate them into effective test scenarios
- Proven experience in
creating, executing, and maintaining
comprehensive test strategies and test plans
- Proactive, action-oriented, and eager to contribute from day one
- Open to feedback and communication (introverts welcome too)
- Skilled in English (written and spoken)
- Interested in working in a hybrid setup, with occasional in-person collaboration
Why Join Us?
- Work in a dynamic learning environment where your ideas are valued and supported
- Hands-on mentorship to grow your skills in QA and overall business mindset
- Be a part of a collaborative team of engineers at heart, creative, out-of-the-box thinkers, most of us with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Own your impact: No micromanaging here. We trust you to take the lead, make smart calls, and own your work like it matters—because it does.
Perks of joining QA DNA
- Competitive salary
and a clear growth path
- Certifications
in any tech direction that you find relevant or attractive
- Flexibility:
we care more about the job being done than having a strict schedule (but we need you to be an engaged team member, so that means some office presence required)
- Fun monthly team events (bowling, board games, paintball, etc.) - but any idea is welcome
- Fruit, coffee & snacks at the office
P.S.
This is a full-time engagement, with a hybrid working model. If you think you're a good fit for our team (and you reached this part of the job post) apply now - can't wait to meet you
See you soon,
The QA DNA Team
