: Aricestii Rahtivani, Prahova County, Romania

This position is adressed to applicants already resident and with valid work permit in Romania at the time of application.
The person will provide the service for planning of the Welding, NDT and Field Joint Coating activities for Saipem Romania.

Main Responsibilities

• Collection of the input data from Welding, NDT and Field Joint Coating departments:
• Name of the project, client, pipe manufacturer, material, external diameter and wall thickness.
• Welding and NDT methods applicable to the project; field joint coating systems applicable to the project.
• Welding, NDT and field joint coating documents that have to be created for the project.
• Welding materials and consumables that shall be used for internal trials, Welders Qualification Tests, Welding Procedure Qualification Tests and production.
• Field joint coating materials and consumables that shall be used for internal trials, field joint coating Pre-Qualification Tests, Field Joint Coating Pre-Production Tests and production.
• Internal trials and qualification tests pertinent to welding, NDT and field joint coating Pre-Qualification Tests to be performed in PTC.
• Welding, NDT, Field joint coating equipment that shall be used for internal trials, Procedure Qualification Tests and production.
• Plan of the laboratory tests from PTC Laboratory.
• Preparation of the plans and schedules (in MS Excel, MS Project or using other software requested by Manager or Field Joint Coating Service Lead) for the following:
• Internal trials and welding and NDT personnel and procedure qualifications in the welding workshop in PTC.
• Internal trials and field joint coating Pre-Qualification Tests in the field joint coating workshop in PTC.
• Availability of the equipments and working stations.
• Provide the list of priorities to the PTC Laboratory.

Requirements From The Candidate For The Job

• University technical degree
• Knowledge of English language, both written and spoken
• Experience in working with MS Project/ Primavera - will be considered a plus
• Attention to Detail, Organizational and Data Analysis skills
• Effective Communication
• Time Management in order to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
