is seeking a
QC Manager
for the Construction site, to be incorporated in one of their projects located in
Corbii Mari, (Romania)
.

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the optimum compliance at the worksite of the policies, objectives, standards, procedures, documentation with regard to Quality Management Systems.
  • Preparation of the Project Quality Control Plan at the beginning of the project, including Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP), Construction ITP, Commissioning ITP
  • Assure / Verify inspector´s and supervisor´s activities related to quality matters.
  • Participate or Witness in a random or planner way any fabrication points or test as stated in the ITP.
  • Supervision of subcontractors' QC / ITP plans
  • Ensure that the test, controls and inspections are carried out according to Quality Control Plans / Inspections Tests Plans.
  • Witness subcontractors activities related Quality Control Plan of the Photovoltaic Plant, such as civil works, pile Installation, structure assembly, pv module assembly, cable installation, electrical connection, power transformers installation, commissioning test, etc.
  • Ensure an adequate communication with client and an effective Request for Inspection notification system. (RFI )
  • Check the procedure and equipment´s to be use during tests and inspections.
  • Ensure that the material and equipment are correctly received, stored, preserved and handled, identified and traceable.
  • Coordination with the rest of the project in all such areas where there are / may be synergies.
  • Comply with the internal procedures to carry out the processes of the Works
  • Draft and issue situation reports about the obtained results and detected deviations in the execution of the plans to propose improvement actions and recommendations to be followed.
  • Search and Contract local Test Laboratories. To analyze Laboratory Test Reports
  • Solve and clarify doubts regarding quality to the various sectors of the Worksite.
  • Plan and conduct training activities to personnel regarding quality management systems.
  • To coordinate a team of Quality Control Supervisors.
  • Follow-up of the progress of the final dossier and preparation of the same.
  • Issue and management of Non-Conformities
  • Review and verify Contractor´s personnel qualification for quality matters.
  • Monitor corrections, corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements:

  • Engineer Degree
  • Fluent English and Romanian (oral and writing)
  • Knowledge international codes and standards (ASTM, ASME, ISO, IEEE…)
  • At least, 5 years of experience in QA/QC control in EPC Projects.
  • At least 1 project experience as Quality Control Manager in Photovoltaic Plant.
