We're hiring a
Financial Accountant
to strengthen our finance team. This is a mid-level role for someone with solid accounting experience, proficiency in QuickBooks Online, and the confidence to work with U.S. standards. If you're looking for a role where your expertise is valued and your input helps shape how we grow, this is it.
About the Role
You'll be the backbone of our day-to-day accounting — ensuring our books are clean, accurate, and up to date. You'll handle reconciliations, reporting, and financial documentation, working closely with our San Francisco-based leadership. We offer flexibility in how and where you work, while expecting accountability and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate bookkeeping in
QuickBooks Online
Reconcile bank, vendor, and crypto accounts
Manage invoices, expenses, and vendor payments
Prepare monthly financial reports and support the closing process
Collaborate with our U.S. finance team on reviews and reporting
Apply accounting principles and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP
What We're Looking For
Based in Romania (Bucharest preferred, but remote possible)
3–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Proficiency with
QuickBooks Online
Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles (U.S. GAAP familiarity a plus)
Fluent English (B2+ or higher)
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
