Description

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled API Integration Developer to join our client's integration team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining state-of-the-art APIs and integration solutions that support critical business requirements. The team works with the Anypoint Platform from MuleSoft to build, deploy, secure, and expose APIs, with a priority for adaptability and mindset. The position is ideally based in Cluj or Bucharest and offers an opportunity to contribute to international integration projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop prototypes for new integration solutions based on business requirements and user feedback
  • Create and maintain API Specifications to serve as contracts for development
  • Build and enhance APIs and integration features aligned with stakeholder specifications
  • Test and validate APIs to ensure quality and compliance with requirements
  • Document development processes and integration procedures for reuse
  • Advocate and apply API-Led Connectivity practices
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Maven and GitHub Actions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and deliver integration opportunities

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency in data formats (XML, JSON), protocols (HTTP(S), (S)FTP), and web services/APIs (REST, SOAP, RPC)
  • Knowledge of authentication standards (OAuth)
  • Experience with API Specifications (RAML and/or OAS)
  • Familiarity with system development lifecycles and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to support clients with technical issues and verify integrations against designs
  • Fluent in English and comfortable in international environments
  • Full-stack development experience is an advantage
