Senior Accountant, General Ledger & Accounts Payable
(maternity leave coverage for 2 years) for our European Entities (Belgium, UK, Poland) .

You will be the first contact of all supply team colleagues and suppliers, you should offer your support and guidance on solving their issues. This valuable employee will resolve complex situations with enthusiasm, composure under pressure and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities
As a
Senior Accountant, General Ledger & Accounts Payable
for our European Entities (Belgium, UK, Poland), you will be responsible for:

• Conduct data entry of accounting entries into the system and ensure data integrity
• Determine and book the ICO transactions quarterly
• Check, book and pay the T&E reports for Poland employees
• Check, book and pay the payroll for Belgium, UK and Poland employees (payrolls are generated by an external provider)
• Track fixed assets for the 3 entities
• Prepare the VAT journals and provide the necessary info to the external tax provider for generating the declarations on our behalf
• Calculate Income tax and provide the necessary info to the external tax provider for submitting the declarations on our behalf
• Perform reconciliation and closing at the month end
• Support the internal and external audit
• Support for all future testing and system developments
• Preparing any other reports required
• Any other responsibility delegated by the hierarchical manager

What You'll Need

• University degree in Economics, Accounting and Finance
• At least 3-4 years overall experience in accounting
• 2+ years of experience with multi-currency transactions
• Experience in accounting for international companies using different standards than the Romanian Standards (IFRS, US GAAP) is considered an advantage
• Blackline accounting module experience will be a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Power-user experience on different accounting software would be a plus
• English proficiency (written and spoken)
• Ability to prioritize tasks at every level
• Positive can-do attitude and sense of humor would be a plus
• Ability to interact professionally with a variety of cultures
