Junior Accountant in Vladeni

For our client, an important player in the FMCG market, we are looking for an Accountant in Vladeni (Ialomita).

Main Responsibilities:

• Recording accounting transactions in compliance with Romanian legislation and internal procedures;
• Preparing and submitting statutory declarations and monthly financial reports (VAT, corporate tax, etc.);
• Managing daily operations related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and fixed assets;
• Following/monitoring the payment to suppliers;
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring accurate and complete journal entries;
• Preparing internal and external audit documentation and assisting auditors during reviews;
• Monitoring inventory accounting, including raw materials, production flows, and finished goods;
• Ensuring proper documentation and archiving of all financial and accounting records;
• Collaborating with plant teams and central finance to ensure alignment between operations and accounting;
• Improving internal accounting workflows and contributing to the implementation of internal controls;
• Assisting in budgeting processes and performing variance analysis related to plant activities.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Economic studies (minimum bachelor's degree);
• Solid knowledge of accounting and taxation;
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage;
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word);
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills;
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
