We are seeking an Junior Consultant – Risk & Regulatory Reporting (Investment Funds).
About The Role
Our Risk Advisory team offers consulting services on Risk and Investment Management and Regulatory topics for investment funds, asset managers and banks. In reason of the ongoing expansion, we are currently looking for outstanding individuals to join our team and contribute to the development of risk management (investment risk, liquidity risk) and reporting services (Solvency II, CRR, PRIIPs). This is an ideal opportunity to develop a solid knowledge in the risk management and investments fields. The position will give you excellent exposure to a range of assignments in a very dynamic environment, where proactivity and determination are valued skills. A career in KPMG's Risk Advisory department provides you with hands-on opportunities to learn and support our clients by implementing risk management frameworks and monitoring portfolio risk and compliance.

As a
Junior Consultant
, you will support clients from the asset management industry in the production and review of regulatory and risk transparency reports.

This role is a great opportunity for recent graduates with a strong financial and technical background to grow within a specialized advisory environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support asset management clients in producing and reviewing regulatory risk transparency reports (Basel III, Solvency II, etc.)
• Be a direct contact point for clients, ensuring clear communication and high-quality deliverables
• Collect, transform, and analyze client data to develop insights and recommendations aligned with their business and regulatory needs
• Ensure timely delivery of accurate and high-quality risk reporting and advisory outputs
• Collaborate in the development and enhancement of internal reporting platforms and tools
• Provide regulatory advisory during the set-up phase of new investment funds

What We Look For

• Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
• Strong understanding of financial instruments and portfolio risk concepts
• Familiarity with the fund industry and its regulatory environment
• Working knowledge of Basel III and Solvency II is considered an advantage (either through academic or internship experience)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a rigorous, quality-driven approach
• Proficiency in Excel is a must; experience with Python, Matlab, or other programming languages is a strong advantage
• IT-oriented mindset – comfortable working with data and learning new tools (coding knowledge is a plus but not mandatory)
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French or German is considered an asset
