Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Manager to join our Management Consulting for Energy Industry, Renewables M&A
In this role, you will lead projects, manage client relationships, and guide teams of consultants in delivering high-impact advisory services. You will be involved in complex and strategic projects across the energy industry, focusing on energy transition, sustainability, corporate strategy, and financial advisory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate advisory projects in the energy and sustainability sector, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely execution.

  • Manage client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities to expand collaboration.

  • Supervise and coach project teams, providing guidance, feedback, and performance evaluations.

  • Support the development of proposals and business development initiatives.

  • Conduct and review strategic analyses, market assessments, feasibility studies, and financial models.

  • Collaborate with other service lines within KPMG to deliver integrated solutions to clients.

  • Stay updated on energy market trends, sustainability regulations, and industry best practices to support clients with relevant insights.

  • Ensure effective resource allocation and contribute to the development of the team's expertise and knowledge base.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 6–8 years of relevant experience in management consulting, corporate finance, or the energy industry (including 2+ years in a team lead or managerial role).

  • Strong project management and people management skills, with proven experience in leading teams.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Solid understanding of the energy sector, regulatory landscape, and sustainability topics.

  • Strong business acumen and client relationship management capabilities.

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Excellent communication skills, both in English and Romanian.
