Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Java Developer/Engineer located in Bucharest. The Java Developer/Engineer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. Tasks include writing clean, scalable, and efficient code, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Java programming, including experience with frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns
  • Experience with database management systems, such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
  • Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and continuous integration tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Prior experience in payment processing or fintech industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
