The Mission

We are looking for a Domain Architect for InsideBusiness's Connectivity Channels in the Wholesale Banking Digital Tribe with architecture eperience in a large and international oriented company, showing us how to improve and to keep offering the best services to our clients.

ING's InsideBusiness platform offers two distinct types of channels. Interactive channels provide a user-friendly interface for managing daily banking operations such as payments, cash management, trade finance, lending, and financial markets. Connectivity channels, on the other hand, enable secure, automated, and straight-through transmission of payment and reporting files between clients' ERP/TMS systems and the bank. All channels can be centrally administered by designated Corporate Administrators, allowing for streamlined self-management and control

Your day to day

As a Domain Architect you will be part of the Wholesale Banking Centre of Ecellence (COE) Architecture. You translate business vision and strategy into effective enterprise architecture by creating, communicating, and improving the key principles and models that describe the current and future state. You eecute the global Business & IT Roadmap process, with centralised designs and (logical) global decompositions, analyses market- and IT-trends and, based on this information, contributes to the strategy of the organization.

Your key responsibilities

• Facilitate efficient architecture delivery and support the WB Digital Tribe and the business by providing impactful architecture on cross domain and end-to-end comple environments.
• Work with Tech and business representatives to come to a (logical) target architecture taking requirements, ING standards and standard solutions into account.
• Work with Architects to translate the logical architecture into the technical/solution architecture.
• Develop and maintain relevant architectural artifacts, including application architectures, road maps, data models and other relevant documentation.
• Perform Architecture Management; support delivery of target architecture/solutions by quality decision making.
• Contribute to the COE Architecture organisation to improve way of working and enhance tooling
• Trusted advisor for business, IT, and fellow architects within your epertise.

What you'll bring to the team

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field/ equivalent work eperience.
• You have at least 5 years of eperience as an IT architect or similar (IT) function.
• Eperience with secure financial messaging standards like SWIFT and EBICS for supporting integrations with eternal banking networks is highly desirable.
• Eperience in working in a highly regulated environment (e.g., financial institutions).
• Curious mindset: you are up to date with the architecture trends and market development (vendors, other financial institutions).
• Good understanding of architecture standards and frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ecellent communication skills, capable of conveying comple architecture topics to various audiences.
• Ability to develop strong and collaborative partnerships with organizational leaders.
• You improve yourself constantly; and you challenge, improve and train others continuously.
• Knowledge of and eperience with IT architecture methodologies, processes (e.g. TOGAF), service management processes and an agile work environment.
