Job Title: Reporting Automation Engineer

Location: Bulgaria

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Reporting Automation Engineer to design and implement a web-based reporting dashboard with automated data collection and visualization capabilities. This short-term project role requires a hands-on professional experienced in frontend and backend development, data processing, and ETL workflows. The ideal candidate will be able to translate reporting requirements into efficient, user-friendly, and data-driven web solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an intuitive and responsive dashboard UI using and Vite.
  • Implement backend functionality and APIs using Laravel (PHP).
  • Design and manage data collection and processing workflows using Apache NiFi and MariaDB.
  • Clean, structure, and transform data for accurate visualization and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting objectives and deliver actionable insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy, security, and performance across the reporting pipeline.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in , Vite, and Laravel (PHP).
  • Experience with Apache NiFi for ETL/data flow automation.
  • Proficient in working with MariaDB or similar relational databases.
  • Hands-on knowledge of JavaScript or Python (mandatory).
  • Understanding of data science principles, ETL processes, and dashboard/reporting architectures.
  • Experience with web-based data visualization tools and frameworks is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
