Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Associate to join the Romania People Shared Services team to support UK People Operations. This team delivers high-quality, scalable, and consistent People Operations services, enabling our employees to thrive and focus on impactful client work. Reporting to the CEE People Shared Services Lead, this role is responsible for delivering exceptional employee lifecycle support-from onboarding to exit-while driving operational efficiency, compliance, and a great people experience virtually via operating out of the Bucharest office. We're looking for someone who is proactive, highly organised, eager to learn, and passionate about providing excellent support across HR processes. Responsibilities Employee Lifecycle Administration Manage assigned lifecycle processes (e.g., probation, sickness tracking, maternity, exits) Ensure timely and accurate updates to HRIS (SuccessFactors), payroll inputs, and documentation Respond to employee queries in a timely, professional, and solution-focused manner Support relocation and onboarding for external visa candidates (flights, hotels, transport, visa initiation in collaboration with the mobility team) Onboarding & New Joiner Experience Coordinate logistics for new joiners, including: Week 1 onboarding setup with IT, L&D (Publicis Sapient Start), and People Teams Preparing new starter packs and scheduling "meet & greets" with line managers and buddies Ensure all onboarding paperwork and employee files are complete and up to date Compliance & Process Support Coordinate compliance requirements including right-to-work checks, visa documentation, and pre-employment screening Support GDPR compliance and employee file audits Prepare data for audits and reporting requests Project & Continuous Improvement Participate in UK-level People Ops projects (e.g., new system rollouts, reporting improvements) Proactively identify opportunities to simplify and improve processes Business Capability Support Act as the point of contact for people within a designated business capability area across onboarding, probation, parental leave, exits, sickness, and other lifecycle processes Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations Strong alignment with Publicis Sapient's core values Meticulous attention to detail with a passion for accuracy and efficiency Eagerness to learn and grow a career in HR within a global organisation Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Romanian Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global, and matrixed environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., SuccessFactors) is a plus Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across internal teams and stakeholders Additional information Besides an exciting job in a tremendous team, here's what you can expect: A fast-paced tech environment Continuous growth & learning Open feedback culture Room for own initiative & ideas Transparency about results & strategy Recognition & reward for hard work Working with a flexible schedule Medical subscription Meal tickets 25 vacation days Many others perks Tremend is the newest global software engineering hub for Publicis Sapient. Candidate Requirements:
