This role is remote from anywhere in Europe, although we have a preference for Portugal, Ukraine or Romania.

The Opportunity

As a Product Manager at Payset you will be at the forefront of shaping innovative financial solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth. You will collaborate with cross functional teams including engineering, design and customer success to define product vision, prioritize features and deliver high impact solutions, while being the driver of a software development team. This is a strategic and dynamic role offering autonomy, influence and visibility with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for key components of our payments and multi-currency platform.

Collaborate with engineering, design, compliance, operations, and commercial teams to translate business goals into clear product requirements and deliverables.

Conduct market and customer research to identify trends, user needs, and opportunities to innovate and improve the customer experience.

Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring a balance between short-term delivery and long-term strategic goals, and drive a team to deliver effectively.

Monitor and analyze product performance, usage data, and customer feedback to continuously optimize features and identify areas for improvement.

Champion user-centric design principles and work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.

Act as a key stakeholder in go-to-market activities, to launch new features and communicate value to customers.

Communicate product updates, progress, and insights to internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, and align your team around product strategy.

Stay up to date with fintech trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform product decisions and maintain compliance.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally within a fintech, SaaS, or digital payments environment.

Strong understanding of financial technologies, payments infrastructure, or banking products.

Demonstrated ability to manage the full product lifecycle — from ideation to delivery and iteration.

Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills with a data-driven mindset.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.

Empathy for users and a passion for creating seamless digital experiences.

Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, and analytics platforms.

Proficiency in English.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a background in engineering, business, or design is a plus.
