SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) supports mission-critical operations for businesses worldwide. The Database Services team within ECS ensures high-performance, secure, and resilient database landscapes across SAP's private cloud environments. As a Database Operations Expert in Bucharest, you'll lead strategic initiatives that keep SAP's database infrastructure running at its best.

Bring it

You're a seasoned database administrator with deep technical expertise and a passion for operational excellence. You bring:

1- 5+ years of experience managing SAP HANA, ASE, or other RDBMS platforms
S- trong knowledge of backup and recovery, performance tuning, and high availability strategies
E- xperience with automation tools, scripting, and system optimization
F- amiliarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
A- proactive mindset and strong documentation skills

You'll drive continuous improvement across SAP's database operations, supporting critical business systems. Your work will:

L- ead infrastructure re-architecture and new technology adoption
M- anage installations, upgrades, and performance optimization
E- nsure security, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness
S- upport strategic pilot projects and global delivery initiatives
C- ollaborate across teams to deliver stable, efficient database services
