We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to strengthen our sales team in Romania. We are a combination of creative, ambitious, and hard-working minds. Our passion is to bring innovative, quality products to the market and help our customers in their construction process.

To strengthen our sales team in Romania, we are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer - (Structural Designer)

What is this job all about?


• Providing technical knowledge, support, and assistance in technical & structural design matters to the sales team regarding Peikko products and projects.


• Offer technical support to local structural design offices who lack knowledge or need assistance in designing accordingly. Technical Seminars/Webinars Using Peikko Designer


• Structural Design of Peikko products for projects in local & neighboring markets


• Availability to travel together with sales team on sites/customer visits in Romania & neighboring countries


• Collaboration with stakeholders: structural engineers, architects, investors, other Peikko units etc. for identification and application of best solutions.


• Project management of assigned projects and checking of workshop drawings, offer technical support for utilization of products


• Preparation of workshop drawings and other materials needed to supplement commercial

offers support or to the Production department related to them.


• Preparation of other technical documentation and tools. Validation of translation of

technical manuals, approvals, editing of technical manuals, and engineering magazines.


• Preparation of internal procedures related to customer engineering. Other tasks directly

related to the workflow of structural engineering.


• Collection of all available data from different sources for concrete, steel and composite

structures design according to Eurocodes and local codes, legislation. Calculation of steel

and composite structures, providing output data for cost calculations in the tender phase.

What skills and qualities are we looking for?


• University degree in civil engineering


• Experience in steel and concrete structure design


• Seismic engineering knowledge


• Communication skills in Romanian and English


• Ability to use 3D CAD software: Autocad, SolidWorks, Tekla structures, SCIA Engineer.


• Proactive performance and problem-solving.
