E-Commerce Manager

Location: Mogoșoaia (Ilfov), Romania

Industry: Home Furniture / Upholstery Fabric / Furniture

For our promising client operating in the home furniture and upholstery fabric industry, we are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager to lead and scale the company's online marketplace operations.

The role requires working on-site, 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute and manage the company's e-commerce and online marketplace strategy .
  • Lead overall online sales performance, ensuring revenue, profitability and conversion targets are met.
  • Manage marketplace operations including product listings, pricing, content optimization, campaign planning, and performance tracking.
  • Oversee the end-to-end online customer journey, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with marketing, logistics, supply chain, and product teams to support e-commerce growth.
  • Monitor industry and competitor trends; implement best practices to strengthen digital presence.
  • Lead and develop a small team to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a leading university.
  • Minimum 5 years of e-commerce and online marketplace experience, preferably in the home furniture, upholstery fabric or furniture industry.
  • Proven track record in managing marketplace operations and online sales growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent command of English (advanced level).
  • Excellent command of Romanian (native or advanced level).
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and marketplace algorithms .
