Sales Manager

For our client, a group of companies developing and implementing complete solutions for industrial processes and construction, we are looking for a Sales Manager, reporting to the General Manager. He / she will collaborate with the Tendering, Technical, Procurement and Marketing Departments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Identification and Development

  • Identify potential clients (developers, investors, end beneficiaries) through public sources, databases, and professional networking (architects, designers, real estate agents).
  • Create and continuously update a database of clients and prospects.
  • Maintain regular contact to ensure consistent visibility of the company.

2. Tendering and Negotiation

  • Contact clients, assess their needs, and forward requests for proposals to the Tendering Department.
  • Deliver offers to clients and actively participate in negotiations, supported in final stages by the Technical Department and General Manager.
  • Present and justify proposed technical solutions to clients.

3. Commercial Relationship Development

  • Maintain relationships with existing clients during and after project execution.
  • Contribute to client loyalty strategies and provide regular feedback to management on client satisfaction.

4. Marketing and Promotion Activities

  • Attend industry events (trade fairs, conferences, business meetings).
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials (brochures, articles, case studies).

Candidate Profile

  • University degree in civil/industrial construction – Civil Engineer
  • Previous B2B sales experience in construction or technical commercial roles.
  • Active network of industry contacts (architects, designers, real estate agents, developers).
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Technical skills to understand and explain proposed solutions (reading plans, technical details).
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project.
  • Category B driving license and willingness to travel (approx. 50% of the time, mostly within Romania).
  • Dynamic, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Skilled in building long-term, trust-based relationships with clients and partners.
