Cloacina, LLC is the premier packaged wastewater company in the world. We are seeking a Wastewater Process Engineer with strong process expertise and exceptional technical writing ability. This is a fully remote role where you will work directly with our founder and later transition to supporting our Product Development Manager. Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize wastewater treatment process supporting documents.
• Support existing treatment systems, collaborating with internal teams to solve operational challenges via documentation and systems.
• Author clear and precise technical documentation, including SOPs, O&M manuals, commissioning documents, proposals, and client-facing reports.
• Translate complex process information into accessible, professional content for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Utilize LLM's, AI Agents/Programs, GPT's, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel modeling, Power BI, and Bluebeam to prepare reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Collaborate remotely with leadership, engineering, and operations teams to deliver high-quality process and technical outputs.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. in Environmental, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical (M.S. preferred but not required).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in wastewater process engineering, wastewater O&M or wastewater adjacent engineering and design with product lines.
• Technical Writing: Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, structured, and professional technical documentation.

Tools/Skills:

• Strong Microsoft Office and Excel modeling skills.
• Proficiency with Power BI and data visualization.
• Bluebeam familiarity (AutoCAD a plus, but not required).
• Familiarity with LLM's, AI Agents/Programs
• Soft Skills: Excellent written and spoken English, detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Licenses/Certifications: Professional Engineering related certifications are a plus, but are not required.

The wastewater industry can be hazardous due to exposure to biological and chemical hazards, as well as physical dangers like confined spaces, slips, and falls. Employees may come in contact with wastewater which contains human waste. Wastewater contains various bacteria, viruses, and parasites that can cause diseases in humans and animals. Workers can be exposed through contact with wastewater, aerosols containing pathogens, or contaminated equipment. Wastewater treatment processes also involve the use of various chemicals, some of which can be toxic or corrosive. It is imperative that employees wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols. While not mandatory, it is also highly recommended that employees stay current with vaccinations, including Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Tetanus, and Diphtheria.

Pay: 120,000.00RON - 180,000.00RON per year
