NestJS Typescript Senior Software Developer

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with experience in TypeScript to join our RTX Cloud product team.

RTX Cloud product team is looking for a backend engineer for our Cloud Service Enterprise offering. We're building a scalable, cloud-native platform to manage and monitor a large fleet of connected devices deployed across multiple customer environments. The platform is hosted primarily on AWS and leverages services like EC2, ECS, S3 etc. Communication with devices is done over MQTT. The system must be highly available, secure and reliable. You will be part of a team developing the RTX Cloud platform and the platform is evolving rapidly, so you will be working closely with Product management, and you will be able to influence features and design daily.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of the RTX Cloud team, you will be working with and responsible for:

·      Develop and maintaining backend code in NestJS and TypeScript.

·      Design and implementing RESTful APIs

·      Writing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality

·      Ensuring the system is secure, monitored and resilient

·      Participate in code reviews, and uphold best practices

We expect you have
:

·      Proven experience in building backend in NestJS and Typescript

·      Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases

·      Experience with REST API development

·      Experience with CI/CD pipelines

·      Excellent English communications skills

·      Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience

It would be beneficial if you have

·      Experience with C#

·      Knowledge of AWS services and microservice architecture

·      Experience with software testing and debugging

·      Familiarity with testing, debugging, and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)

·      Proficiency with source control tools (Git or Mercurial)
