We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, a leading international manufacturing company with a strong presence in the Brașov area. The company operates in a dynamic and technologically advanced sector, offering a collaborative and performance-driven work environment. As part of its continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join their leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coordinate, monitor, and supervise the activities of the finance & accounting team.

  • Ensure the accounting department operates in full compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.

  • Define tasks and responsibilities for the team in alignment with job descriptions.

  • Maintain solid understanding and implementation of Romanian tax law and EU VAT regulations.

  • Oversee financial processes, propose optimizations, and support strategic decision-making.

  • Prepare and analyze regular financial reports, including profitability studies, cash flow tracking, cost structure evaluations, and key financial indicators.

  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly and year-end closings, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements, and notes to the annual accounts.

  • Manage the reporting package to the group headquarters.

  • Provide support during internal audits and manage communication with auditors and tax advisors.

  • Handle reporting and compliance related to state aid projects.

  • Participate actively in the entitys management team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and reporting standards.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and leadership skills.

  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and initiative.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Adaptability and a people-oriented approach.

  • Proactive mindset and project management skills.

  • Decision-making capabilities and a collaborative spirit.

  • Interest in working in an international environment.

  • Proficiency in preparing and interpreting financial reports.

Technical & Language Skills:

  • Solid working knowledge of SAP R3 and/or SAP S/4HANA (FICO module).

  • Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel.

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a strong advantage.
