IMSAT is looking for a
Senior Welding Engineer
for its offices in Bucharest and Pitesti – a professional passionate about welding, with experience and a drive to contribute to the continuous improvement of quality. If you have expertise in working with metals and want to be part of a dynamic team, this opportunity is for you

Key Responsibilities:

Continuously improve welding processes according to established technical standards;

Ensure compliance with client technical requirements in both documentation and execution;

Create welding documentation for projects;

Calculate welding material consumption per project;

Apply EN and EN standards to the welding process;

Coordinate welding processes in accordance with EN ISO 14731 and EN ISO on project sites;

Supervise welding activities on-site when required;

Propose cost-reduction measures and process optimization;

Provide technical support for corrective actions and their implementation;

Support the qualification/authorization process of welding personnel and maintain company/division-level records;

Develop procedures and work instructions for welding activities.

What We Expect from You:

Technical university degree, specialization in welding;

IWE/EWE certification (mandatory); additional certifications such as VT (optional), IWI/EWI, PT, MT, RTS are an advantage;

Minimum 5 years' experience in welding;

Advanced English language skills;

Strong PC operating skills;

Ability to read and understand technical drawings;

Availability for travel, both in Romania and internationally;

Well-organized, with a strong focus on quality and meeting deadlines;

Excellent communication skills and team spirit;

Initiative and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
