QA Engineer

As part of our Dennemeyer Technology business unit, you will join our Payments Systems Team having the following responsibilities: Define test scenarios based on requirements specifications, use cases and user stories, execute manual or automatic tests for our payment solutions, support the development team as an quality specialist to deliver high quality solutions.

Your tasks

• Active participation in the different development stages - from requirements engineering to release
• Definition of test scenarios based on requirements and in collaboration with operational business units
• Ability to analyze test results and identify patterns of issues, troubleshoot scenarios and compile detailed reports
• Create documentation of test suites
• Perform different kind of test: Regression, Non-functional (Load, Performance), Integration
• Documentation of defects / bugs and follow up on the resolution
• Learn the business of Intellectual Property and our products

Your profile

• Minimum 3 years(+) of working experience as QA Engineer on enterprise applications
• Motivated and able to quickly learn new technologies
• Proven experience in agile software development practices like Scrum
• Ability to read code is required, write code is considered an asset (preferably C#)
• Ideally experience with different testing frameworks for unit testing, integration testing and UI testing
• SQL knowledge is considered an asset
• Self-organized and creative team player with excellent communication skills and willingness to learn
• Excellent time management, self-organized, problem-solving and attention to details
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German and/or French is considered an asset
