We, at HN Services Romania, are expanding our team in Bucharest, and we are looking for new, experienced professionals ready to deliver high-quality solutions. The goal is to ensure that the Software Development services provided to the business are stable, resilient and performant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using
    Java 17
    and
    Spring Boot
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations
  • Implement event-driven architectures using
    Apache Kafka
  • Collaborate with DevOps and QA to ensure CI/CD pipelines and testing strategies are in place
  • Utilize
    Kibana
    and the
    ELK stack
    for monitoring, log analysis, and system troubleshooting
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of team practices and development processes

Required Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in backend development with
    Java
  • Strong knowledge of
    Java 17
    and the modern Java ecosystem
  • Experience with
    Spring Boot
    , Spring Data, Spring Security
  • Hands-on experience with
    Kafka
    (message producers/consumers, topics, stream processing)
  • Experience building and consuming
    RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with
    Kibana
    ,
    Elasticsearch
    ,
    Logstash
    (ELK Stack)
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
  • Familiar with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Good understanding of CI/CD, Git, and containerization (Docker)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
  • Familiarity with API gateways, service meshes, and other cloud-native patterns
  • Prior experience in high-traffic or real-time systems
