We are hiring a SAP Specialist (EDI) to contribute to the creation of a new
IT Hub in Craiova

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of SAP IDocs (Inbound/Outbound).
  • Familiarity with EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, VDA, etc.).
  • Basic experience with SAP modules: SD, MM, FI,
  • Knowledge of middleware tools: SAP PI/PO, TIBCO, etc.
  • Debugging skills for IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and EDI interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and support EDI interfaces in SAP (typically in modules like SD, MM, FI, etc).
  • Setup and maintain IDocs, partner profiles, and message types.
  • Manage mapping and transformation rules using tools like PI/PO, B2B Add-On, or external middleware.
  • Work with trading partners to establish and maintain EDI communication protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP, SFTP).
  • Ensure smooth integration between SAP and external systems/vendors/customers.
  • Monitor EDI message flows and error handling (transaction codes: WE02, WE19, WE20, WE21, BD87, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot IDoc failures, partner profile errors, and mapping issues.
  • Discuss with business stakeholders to gather EDI requirements.
  • Coordinate with SAP functional and BASIS teams for cross-functional EDI needs.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of EDI flows and configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and audit standards.
