About you:

You are collaborative and pragmatic, able to communicate with, advise and guide stakeholders at all levels.

You write clean, self-documenting code that is well structured and easy to read.

You take responsibility for projects, identify risks early, and make decisions to ensure successful delivery.

You stay up to date with the latest technology and demonstrate adaptability in changing priorities.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Design and develop software solutions to meet agreed acceptance criteria and stories using a range of languages and technologies.
  • Own, manage and be accountable for specific projects and deliverables, managing risks and dependencies with autonomy.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance and direction to other members of the development team.
  • Manage effective source control, ensuring isolation and ability to manage multiple branches.

Your skills and experiences have to include:

  • C#, .NET Framework (current version 4.7)
  • SQL Server and SSRS
  • Experience with XML, SQL, JSON
  • Communicating with various types of web services
  • Experience with business development cycles and build integration (ADO/TeamCity)
  • Confident with version control systems
  • Unit testing frameworks
