We are currently looking for a Quality Engineer to join our clients' team in Bihor.

Our client, a well-known international presence in Romania, is extending its team in Quality Assurance.

Your new role:

The Quality Engineer is mainly responsible to ensure that all products delivered to the customer are qualitatively appropriate and meet the customer's requirements. Monitors the quality performance of production by comparisons with the established indicators.

Quality Monitoring of Manufactured Products and Defect Analysis

Administration and Resolution of Customer Quality Complaints

Preparation and Delivery of PPAP Documentation

Preparation and Continuous Update of Inspection Work Instructions

Customer Communication for Quality Topics

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position
  • Proven track record in handling PPAP documentation, including FMEA, CP, SPC, MSA, CPK, and Control Plans.
  • Experience in managing and resolving customer quality complaints, with a focus on maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools.
  • Proficient in using statistical software and quality tools for data analysis.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with internal teams and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and lead quality initiatives within a team-based environment.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to manage client relationships and resolve issues effectively.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Additional language skills may be an advantage, depending on the customer base.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) - advanced level
  • Kaizen/5S/Six sigma - is an advantage
