Your impact

AsLegal Counsel – Emerging Markets at OpenText, you'll be a trusted advisor for our operations across theCentral and Eastern Europe (CEE) region and, when needed, theMiddle East and Africa (MEA). You'll work closely with business teams to draft and negotiate high-value contracts, navigate complex legal frameworks, and ensure compliance in an evolving technology landscape. Beyond traditional legal work, you'll also help drive ourdigital transformation in legal operations, bringing innovative solutions to the forefront of our processes.

What you need to succeed

Experience& Skills

  • Qualified lawyer with3+ years post-qualification experience (PQE)
  • Strong track record incontract drafting and negotiation in the technology sector
  • Background inmultinational IT/tech companies or top-tier law firms advising such clients
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken) andnative fluency in a CEE language
  • Knowledge ofdata protection, cybersecurity, and AI-related legal frameworks
