For our client, one of the market leaders in the industrial raw materials distribution sector in Romania, we are seeking an Industry Manager Food.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support to the sales team regarding product details (additives, acidifiers, preservatives, oils, fats, colourants, and dehydrated vegetables in solid or puree form) ;
  • Developing and implementing the sales strategy for the designated industrial segment;
  • Managing and developing commercial relationships with existing and potential clients;
  • Identifying new market opportunities and proposing adequate technical/commercial solutions;
  • Collaborating with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure product availability and optimal delivery to clients;
  • Monitoring industry trends, competition, and the evolution of raw material prices;
  • Participating in trade fairs, exhibitions, and other industry-relevant events;
  • Periodically reporting sales performance and proposing corrective actions.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in a similar role or in B2B sales within the raw materials distribution sector;
  • Technical knowledge of raw materials utilised in the industry;
  • Proficiency in PC operation and CRM systems;
  • Category B driving license and willingness to travel;
  • Minimum intermediate level of English.
