Qualifications & Experience
As an End User Support Specialist at HCLTech, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless IT support for end users, both onsite and remotely.
Minimum Requirements
- Fluency in English
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to provide high-quality support to users across all organizational levels, including non-technical senior management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft operating system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Solid break/fix capabilities for desktops, laptops, workstations, and printers.
- Experience supporting Windows and Mac/iOS devices.
- Familiarity with networking basics, Intel servers, and telecom systems.
- PBX installation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of ITIL service management frameworks and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for resolving user issues and service requests, using tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, or HP Service Manager.
- Provide in-person support, help users learn how to use their devices and software, and assist remote teams with onsite tasks.
- Offer dedicated support for VIP users, handling their tech needs quickly and professionally.
- Help manage IT equipment by tracking inventory, updating records, and disposing of old devices properly.
- Troubleshoot and fix unique technical problems with computers, networks, servers, phones, and other devices.
- Repair and support desktops, laptops, printers, smartphones, tablets, and personal devices.
- Support both Windows and Mac systems, including Windows 11/10/7/XP and Windows Server versions.
- Keep users and teams informed about issue status and solutions through clear communication.
- Work with experts when needed for complex problems and help manage IT assets.
