We are recruiting for one of our clients, a well established international company acting in the automation & electrical industry a Logistics Master Data Specialist

Your main scope
is to support to maintain and optimize logistics master data in SAP. Enhance data quality, support packaging optimization and contribute to digital transformation across global supply chain processes.

Responsibilities
:

Logistics Master Data Maintenance

  • Create and maintain material master data, packaging specifications, and logistics parameters in SAP (e.g., dimensions, weights, storage conditions).
  • Ensure data consistency across global systems and interfaces (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, EWM).

Data Quality & Analysis

  • Perform regular data validations and cleaning activities.
  • Support harmonization of packaging dimensions and logistics attributes across business units.
  • Collaborate with global key users and data owners to align on standards.

Support for SCM & Packaging Optimization

  • Assist in calculating packaging units (VPE/ENB) using tools like Multipack.
  • Visualize packaging structures to support warehouse and transport optimization.
  • Coordinate with production planners and purchasing to validate packaging data.

Mass Data Handling

  • Prepare and format data for mass uploads (Excel templates).
  • Support global master data projects (e.g., data migrations, template rollouts).

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain documentation of master data processes and standards.
  • Generate reports and KPIs related to data completeness and quality.

Qualifications
:

  • Commercial or technical education in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in master data management in an industrial environment.
  • SAP ERP knowledge (MM, WM, SD, EWM); S/4HANA experience is a plus.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and structured working style.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.
  • Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
