Job Summary

We are looking for an expert to help our customers with our processing equipment's maintenance, installation, and commissioning. As a Service Engineer, you will be part of a team but the majority of your time will be spent working at and with our customers. To be successful in this position, you should enjoy working independently, remotely, and traveling a lot.

Our office is in Bucharest, Romania, but ideally, you are located in the western part of Romania, e.g., Timisoara, Alba Iulia, Lugoj, Caransebes etc., to be close to our customers there.
 
You will be traveling by car 80% of your time to our customer sites. 

Career migration is not supported for this position.

What you will do

As Service Engineer, you will:

  • Install, commission, and maintain our Processing equipment at our customers' sites also preparing customer sites for installation events
  • Execute preventive maintenance activities in line with global Tetra Pak standard procedures
  • Work with complex equipment, and use the latest automation technology at customer sites
  • Ensure Tetra Pak quality to customers to secure customer satisfaction
  • Escalation of all discovered food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory issues
  • Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times and execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and Customer safety regulations and requirements
We believe you have
  • Technical education in mechanical engineering with basic electrical skills
  • Automation and process-related studies are nice to have
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in maintenance and/or service work
  • Automation skills, i.e. PLCs, industrial software knowledge
  • Proficiency level in the Romanian language combined with solid knowledge of English
  • You will travel 80 % of the time by car, within the country as well as abroad – therefore you will need a driving license
