Who We Are

We are looking for an experienced Software Project Manager to join our automotive team and lead software delivery activities for projects developed in collaboration with one of our Automotive customers.

The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring ASPICE-compliant development, maintaining customer alignment, and driving end-to-end software delivery for embedded automotive products.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the software development lifecycle for automotive embedded projects in alignment with client processes and standards.
  • Plan, track, and manage project scope, milestones, backlog, risks, and deliverables.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality software releases according to customer timelines and internal commitments.
  • Coordinate with system, hardware, test, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Act as the primary communication interface for software-related topics with client PMs and technical stakeholders.
  • Prepare and lead weekly status meetings, progress reports, dashboards, and delivery overviews.
  • Manage customer expectations, change requests, and priority alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with Automotive SPICE processes and client-specific development standards.
  • Support audits, assessments, traceability, and documentation quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement actions across the software team.
  • Coordinate daily activities of the SW development team (5–20 engineers depending on project).
  • Support task breakdown, sprint planning, and effort estimation (Agile/Kanban environments).
  • Facilitate problem-solving, remove blockers, and escalate technical or process issues when needed.
  • Identify project risks early and drive mitigation plans.
  • Manage technical dependencies across teams (SW-HW integration, Test, System Engineering).
  • Monitor resource needs and support recruitment or scaling discussions.

What You'll Bring Along

  • University degree in Electronics, Automation, Computer Science, or Telecommunications Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience as Software Project Manager / Technical Project Manager / Software Coordinator in the automotive sector.
  • Previous involvement in Tier-1, or large OEM projects (Embedded SW).
  • Solid understanding of embedded systems, automotive ECU development, and software lifecycle.
  • Experience working with Automotive SPICE and customer-specific quality processes.
  • Strong project planning and tracking skills (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, etc.).
  • Excellent communication abilities and customer-facing experience.
  • Technical background in Embedded C/C++, AUTOSAR, or System Architecture.
