R&D Engineer / Additive Manufacturing Laboratory / 3D Printing

The ideal candidate

Gühring company offers customized solutions to our customers in the field of machine construction, making cutting tools with the highest degree of precision. The multitude of types of parts and high dimensional requirements involve customer-oriented design. We are constantly expanding and as the number of projects increases, we are looking for new and motivated colleagues to support us in increasing productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Research and development of new materials for 3D printing applications;
• Testing, optimization, and validation of 3D printing processes;
• Analysis of results and proposal of innovative technical solutions;
• Collaboration with the team for the implementation of R&D projects.

Requirements:

• University degree in engineering, materials science, or related fields;
• Solid knowledge in materials and/or materials engineering;
• Previous experience in research, development, or 3D printing is an advantage;
• Advanced English skills (written and spoken); knowledge of German is an advantage;
• Strong technical skills, critical thinking, and solution-oriented mindset;
• Clear and effective communication, teamwork, and initiative;
• Good organization, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
