Role description:

Our client is a leading provider of technology and services in the gaming industry across international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust C applications for gaming and betting platforms.
  • Optimize existing codebases for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software.
  • Implement and maintain multi-threaded applications and real-time data processing systems.
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues in a high-traffic environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with modern C standards and best practices.
  • Write well-documented, clean, and maintainable code.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in C (11/14/17/20), including modern programming paradigms.
  • Experience with multithreading, networking, and performance optimization.

  • Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases.

  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

  • Understanding of software design patterns and principles.
  • Previous experience in gaming, betting, fintech, or high-performance computing is a plus.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Boost, STL, or other C libraries.

  • Exposure to Linux-based development environments.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Familiarity with cloud services or distributed systems.
