Mission

As a DevOps Engineer in ING Bank Romania – IT Finance Team you will be responsible for the smooth functioning of the operational environments that support application/solution development and deployment, you will deliver support to our stakeholders by providing quality and fast resolutions, involve in fiing production bugs and constantly looking to improve and/or automate our processes and procedures. The DevOps role requires gaining knowledge across the whole stack (like operating systems, disk management, databases, networking, performance, security, etc.) while also being involved in day to day activities of the squad.

Your day to day

• Contribute to the automation and optimization of processes and flows, in order to prevent human error and increase processing speed and the ability to detect errors;
• Investigate, analyze and document production incidents, according to SLA agreement and urgency, incidents related to production applications, using logic and Power BI dashboards and database stored procedures;
• Escalation of incidents to 3rd line support, if needed. Work closely with all parties necessary in order to solve problems;
  Collaborate with other teams to ensure that the application is functioning as e- pected;
• Create and maintain an up-to-date documentation and procedures of your area of support;
  Test production bug fi- es and new developments, when needed;
• Working within Continuous Delivery or Continuous Deployment processes;
• Implements changes on all environments;
• Maintain application documentation;
• Working in Agile environment;
• Offer help and support to newer colleagues;
• Ideas, suggestions, feedback for improvements are always welcomed.

What you bring to the team

• Strong knowledge of relational database technologies such as Oracle SQL and MS-SQL;
• Strong knowledge of Power BI , including Power query and Power automate tools;
  Hands-on e- perience in process automation, technology efficiency and effectiveness;
• Understanding of key DevOps responsibilities and concepts;
• Organized person, focused, able to work under pressure responding to critical incidents calmly, but effectively and capable to meet certain deadlines;
  E- cellent problem solving/analytical skills;
• Good organizational skills and commitment;
• Ability to adapt to continuous and demanding security changes;
• Positive attitude and oriented towards solving problems;
• The ability to give constructive feedback and openness to receive it as well;
• Ability to work under strict deadlines;
• Ability to effectively interface with technical and non-technical staff at all organizational levels.

Nice to have

Basic knowledge of UNI

• based systems and features;
  Basic knowledge and demonstrated troubleshooting abilities on connectivity issues due to firewall, load balancer, pro- y and others.
