Main Responsibilities
- Administer and manage privileged identities and access rights using the dedicated PIM/PAM solution, ensuring availability, integrity, and confidentiality of both data and the platform;
- Contribute to defining and expanding the coverage of PIM/PAM solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational security objectives;
- Actively manage solution availability at all technical layers (OS, DB, APP) by checking for errors and alerts, respectively by careful testing and planning patching; this is applicable for all assigned solutions;
- Implement risk logic and control mechanisms for assigned solutions, in alignment with requirements from the second-level control function;
- Provide operational support to users through the internal ticketing system and email, handling requests related to identity verification, modification, creation, and management of isolated access points (e.g., Bastion Hosts) across Banca Transilvania Financial Group;
- Identify and escalate potential information security risks to relevant teams and coordination levels, regardless of direct involvement;
- Participate in projects and initiatives requiring specialized consultancy in information security, as requested by direct management;
- Support and contribute to team training sessions, sharing knowledge on daily operations and the functioning of security policies and solutions;
- Monitor progress toward assigned objectives and propose compensatory measures when deviations occur, ensuring alignment with professional goals and organizational targets;
- Respond effectively and calmly to cyberattack scenarios targeting GFBT resources, acting autonomously and proactively to maintain and evolve implemented security policies;
- Continuously adapt to organizational changes, external developments, and banking industry trends;
- Maintain a high level of ambition and perseverance, aiming to become a reference point in the Romanian banking sector for privileged identity/access management.
Requirements and Expectations
- Proven experience in managing privileged identities and privileged accesses, ideally within a banking enterprise environment;
- Proven experience in managing production systems/infrastructures/applications potentially causing considerable impact in enterprise IT ecosystem in case of mishandling;
- Strong understanding of risk-based access control and security governance principles;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities across technical and business teams;
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities;
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability;
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written);
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT or information security domains; prior experience in PIM/PAM or certifications in the domain are a plus.
