CANDIDATE'S PROFILE

Our transformation project involves rolling out compelling, innovative consumer propositions in Guidewire across all Colonnade branches which will drive strong, efficient and profitable growth. From IT perspective transformation is supported by implementation of new core solutions and Microsoft Azure driven data platform. The person we are looking for would contribute to abovementioned effort as Analyst in Data and Reporting Delivery team. Delivery Team is an international organizational unit, working according to agile principles and consist of diverse roles and teams that are responsible for the technological transformation in Colonnade. This is a highly qualified team of IT Experts, located in 6 different countries, working in international teams, in a hybrid model.

DAY TO DAY TASKS – MAIN DUTIES

• Work closely with product owner, architect, developers and other analysts in scrum team
• Gathering user needs and mapping them to the DWH model or reports
• Deliver solutions to meet the data and reporting needs
• Analyse source systems (including databases and data structures)
• Work with subject matter experts and development team to understand available data
• Create documentation
• Running the tests

REQUIREMENTS

List of requirements to be successful in the future role:

• Experience in data modelling and DWH processes
• Good understanding of RDBMS concept
• Expertise in mapping source to target
• Ability to write complex SQL queries
• At least 5 years of experience on a similar position
• Great communication skills
• Excellent English

Strong assets:

• Insurance domain knowledge
• Knowledge about reporting tools
• Experience with Azure stack
• Experience in Agile teams
