Since 2005, Pirelli has chosen to invest in Romania and developed a project in Slatina that created over 4,500 jobs. The local factory has become one of the most advanced production facilities in the Pirelli group to produce car tires. Pirelli also owns a motorsport unit in Slatina, where it also produces tires for Formula 1.

Are you passionate about process optimization and innovation? Do you want to make a real impact in a dynamic industrial environment?
We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist with a technical background (e.g., Industrial or Mechanical Engineering) to lead and support World Class Manufacturing (WCM) initiatives across our plant.
This is a great opportunity for professionals with at least 2 years of experience who are ready to drive change, challenge the status quo, and implement effective solutions.
YOUR CORE ACTIVITIES
- Act as the key reference for World Class Manufacturing (WCM) implementation within the plant, taking a proactive role in leading KAIZEN activities and coordinating the Continuous Improvement roadmap across the factory.
- Analyze and optimize material flows and logistics processes.
- Eliminate on-value-added activities by optimizing workplace layouts and operations.
- Track and monitor the progress of improvement initiatives and project KPIs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive resource optimization.
- Develop proposals to enhance workplace standards (layout, processes, material flows).
- Work cross-functionally with department managers and WCM stream leaders.
- Implement and audit 5S methodologies to ensure workplace efficiency.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A degree in a technical field, such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence in handling complex datasets.
- Experience in identifying process improvements and driving change.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, innovation, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic work environments.
WHAT PUTS YOU IN POLE POSITION
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Analytical capabilities and problem-solving attitude
- Previous experience in WCM, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma is a plus.
