As
Portfolio Manager Power & Gas
, you will be responsible for optimizing Axpo's energy portfolio in Romania and Hungary. You will develop hedging strategies, manage risks, and collaborate closely with internal teams to maximize value. This role requires strong analytical skills, a commercial mindset, and a strategic approach.

What you will do:

  • Optimize Axpo's power and gas portfolio in Romania and Hungary
  • Develop and implement hedging strategies to balance risk and reward
  • Structure and execute hedging strategies for standard and non-standard products
  • Create pricing models and conduct sensitivity and market analyses
  • Engage in negotiations and support front-office teams with market insights
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations

What you bring & who you are:

  • At least 5 years of experience in energy trading or portfolio management
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to manage complexity
  • Deep understanding of European energy and commodities markets
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a structured and strategic approach
  • Fluency in English; Hungarian is a plus
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with Endur & eRisk is an advantage
