The Opportunity
At OpenText, we are looking for a motivated, highly passionate engineering manager for the LoadRunner group.

The candidate must have solid experience and relevant track record in developing robust, maintainable, and scalable technology solutions. The role involves leading the architectural design across whole product, ensuring technical excellence, and promoting best practices within the engineering team.

LoadRunner software, used by thousands of businesses around the world, is a comprehensive solution for testing system behavior and performance. It provides an efficient and robust means to verify that your application's architecture is built for more efficient performance and reliability.

*What The Role Offers*

• Conducting and coordinating software development and maintenance activities of large-scale enterprise.
• Coaching, training, and developing the people in the team.
• Yearly evaluation for your team.
• Providing in depth technical knowledge and guidance to the team, according to identified needs.
• Fostering product innovation
• Facilitating cooperation with local and remote multi-geo R&D and non-R&D teams, while keeping high visibility and effective communication.
• Performing effective and detailed project planning, identifying risks, and building mitigation plan.
• Designing and developing functional and/or technical capabilities within the products, while making ongoing design decisions.
• Setting high execution standards with agile processes, while adhering to project goals and ensuring high quality.

*What You Need To Succeed*

• 5+ years of experience in software development technical leadership
• In-depth technical knowledge of C++ and/or .NET CORE
• Strong leadership skills. Ability to motivate and develop people.
• Excellent English communication capabilities (verbal and writing).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
• Experience in test-driven development using testing frameworks such as JUnit and Selenium.
• Competency in managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Understands and can share the knowledge on testing, coding, and debugging procedures
• Spend a large portion of your time hands-on - solving problems, coding and performing code reviews
• Ability and will to influence – setting an agenda and striving to reach it. Results orientation.
