You will be a part of our Grid Software Engineering team, an Agile organization with a flexible working environment, where we are always looking to innovate our products and the processes and technologies we use. Our current focus is on leveraging our long history of Geospatial experience and expertise building client-server products, and evolving those products and tech stacks to modern cloud-based mapping and analytics micro-services. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
In This Role, You Will

• Responsible for testing a feature and or a small feature set with ability to work independently, break down problems and estimate time for quality related tasks;
• Demonstrate increasing expertise in application domain and functional areas;
• Responsible for test case development and maintenance (manual/automation);
• Good experience of developing or expanding test automation;
• Experience of Agile ways of working;
• Experience of non-functional testing;
• Implement and configures testing tools and at times help junior staff;
• Actively support on-going development of testing processes and implementation of testing best practice within scrum teams;
• Collaborate with development team in bug fixing and build plans
• Ensure defect and test automation backlogs have a plan for resolution.
• Apply various testing types and methodologies effectively during SDLC;
• Take ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary;
• Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques;
• Work independently and delivers testing and use case creation which meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project;
• Write effective tests according to best practices so that crucial functional requirements are verified and tests remain valid when code is refactored;
• Connects, inspires, and builds loyalty & commitment through inclusion.

Technical Skills: Some of the following:

• Experience in both functional (backend and UI) and non-functional automation testing (e.g. performance, security, scalability)
• Good knowledge and experience of some of the technologies/tools e.g. SoapUI, Jenkins, JMeter, Qtest , Angular, Node, Test Cafe, NestJS, Postgres, , JUnit, REST Assured,K6 performance , GitHub Actions, Java
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience of shift left approach to quality by adopting agile ways of working
• Good knowledge and experience of testing cloud-based solutions, Restful Web services and micro-service architectures
• Experience of TDD (test-driven development) and BDD
• Experience of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• ISTQB or other test qualifications.
