Technical Program / Project Manager – AI Engagements (Bucharest)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program/Project Manager (Engagement Manager) to lead customer-facing AI initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of AI use cases, bridging the gap between customer stakeholders and our Large Language Model (LLM) experts. You will manage program execution on the customer side, drive measurable outcomes, and ensure alignment between technical capabilities and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Outcome Management

Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise customers in Bucharest and across the region.

Manage the delivery and adoption of AI use cases, ensuring that business objectives are met.

Facilitate collaboration between customer teams and internal AI/LLM experts.

Program & Project Leadership

Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of AI projects from kickoff to measurable outcomes.

Define project scope, success metrics, and delivery milestones.

Proactively identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and roadblocks.

Technical Coordination

Work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and AI researchers to translate technical approaches into customer-friendly solutions.

Ensure customers understand the practical value and limitations of AI solutions.

Support solution architecture and integration discussions as needed.

Stakeholder Communication

Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to executive and technical stakeholders.

Manage expectations and foster alignment between cross-functional teams.

Act as an advocate for customer needs while ensuring feasibility from a technical perspective.

Qualifications

Proven experience (5+ years) in program/project management within technology, AI/ML, or enterprise software environments.

Strong background in managing customer-facing engagements, ideally in a consulting or solutions delivery role.

Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, LLMs, or advanced analytics (not necessarily hands-on, but with the ability to interface with technical experts).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both executive leaders and technical teams.

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.

Experience working in or with enterprise customers in EMEA is a plus.

PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are an advantage.
