Software Product Manager

To successfully carry out your daily activities, it's important to:

  • Have a university degree in a technical field (preferably IT, electronics, telecommunications, or electrical engineering) with a solid understanding of emerging technologies.
  • Have experience in creating and developing software products.
  • Have expertise (at least intermediate level) in hardware products and solutions as well (e.g.: automation solutions and/or IT & communications systems).
  • Have solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle, preferably within Agile methodologies.
  • Have strong attention to detail, including clear and effective communication with clients.
  • Have good presentation skills and technical writing abilities.
  • Have advanced English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Have experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver products and projects under tight deadlines.

Previous experience in a
Software Product Manager
role is considered an advantage.

Here's what you will achieve in this role:

  • Actively promote the concept of
    Physical Security Information Management (PSIM)

and its value in the market.
- Act as the single point of contact for projects involving the development and implementation of software products.
- Create, define, and manage the software portfolio alongside other software products, based on the mix of software and hardware components.
- Manage the development of the company's solutions by performing business analysis, drafting project specifications, and translating user expectations into a realistic implementation plan.
- Launch new products and/or new features for existing products.
- Develop product functionalities throughout its entire lifecycle (in writing and, where applicable, in diagrams).
- Coordinate activities such as planning sessions, retrospectives, and support for the development team when issues arise.
- Create test scenarios and acceptance criteria, taking into account all existing integrations and dependencies.
- Collaborate with the sales and management teams to market products and develop future business opportunities.
- Deliver training sessions and certification programs for partners and end users.
